Learning the rules of the court is indeed the most grueling form of torture.
Princess Daisy had been slowly learning since childhood and had grown accustomed to behaving according to etiquette, yet even so, it was a burdensome ordeal.
For instance, standing for a period could be very tiring, and while Princess Daisy could maintain her posture during events, even then, any event would last at most three to four hours.
To study the rules, however, would mean standing all day long.
As Princess Daisy stood there, the court ladies surrounded her with measuring sticks in hand, glaring vigilantly at her from all sides. The moment her calves showed the slightest sign of relaxation, a stick would come striking down.
"Snap!"
A red mark appeared on Princess Daisy's calf.
Her brows twisted slightly from the pain, and then another stick hit her arm, "Mind your facial expressions."
