The sky was very dark when Mrs. Xu and Xu Hao got out of the black car, wearing sunglasses and masks, fearing that they might be recognized.
The two of them sneakily made their way to Ye Lyu's clinic and, upon reaching the reception, explained their purpose. The receptionist then asked them to wait for a moment and dialed Ye Lyu's number.
Ye Lyu, having received the call, turned to look at Shen Bijun, who had arrived earlier.
Although Shen Bijun often talked of being retired, she would always arrive on time for any illness she had agreed to treat.
Hence, she had come early.
Ye Lyu told the reception to let Mrs. Xu in with Xu Hao.
The receptionist then led Mrs. Xu and Xu Hao to a room that offered more privacy.
Mrs. Xu looked around as if she were a thief, cautious and inquiring, "You don't have any surveillance cameras here, do you?"
The receptionist immediately replied, "No, we place a high value on patients' privacy at our hospital."
