Not so surprisingly, the Jade Prince wasn't very fond of her. Kira assumed that they had some history. Still, the man was a beauty; she couldn't deny that, and her eyes lingered on his face from time to time. He kind of reminded her of Moon, only, her Consort hadn't been this grumpy.
As they made their way to the palace, Prince Yu Chen found fault with everything she did. "Sit properly," he scolded. "Don't swing your arms while walking."
Alas, the beauty turned out to be a nag. Kira went from acting polite towards him to rolling her eyes with every scolding. When the man finally left her alone, she couldn't help but complain bitterly to Alex. "Who does he think he is? It seems he looks down on me a lot. I didn't even do anything wrong, and he already doesn't like me."
The Shadowguards said to her placatingly, "Don't worry, we will only be in the Jade Kingdom for a few days. Just bear with it."
