Rosalina and Gu Won drew their attention to the middle-aged man who smiled at Rosalina nicely.
Gu Won recognized the man and stretched his hand for a shake;
"Hello, Mr. Choi." Lee Gu Won greeted the Choir family. Lee's family are rivals from the start and they have never been or going to be friends because they believe they are rivals in the business world. These two families are one of the richest families and every other family respected them and wanted to have things to do with them or at least be seen with them.
The middle-aged man looked at Lee Gu Won's hand and only nodded not taking Gu Won's hand for a shake.
"Sorry young Lee but I'm here to see Me Rosalina." the man said smiling while Gu Won frowned and wondered why the man wanted to meet his wife.
"She is my wife, why do you want to see her and not me?" Gu Won asked with a slight frown.
Rosalina shot him a glare to shut him up then she turned to the man with a smile;
"Hello sir, I'm sorry for his rude attitude, I'm here to hear you, Mr. Choi," Rosalina said with a slight smile while Mr. Choi didn't know if he should burst into tears or be happy as he watched Rosalina speak to him formally.
"Uhh can I call you Yoona instead?" the man asked politely causing Rosalina to smile and nod her head in agreement.
"Of course Mr. Choi, after all, you are an elderly man and old enough to be my father," Rosalina spoke politely while all attention was on her everyone was surprised to see one of the richest man to be chatting with the woman whom everyone only believed was an actress and a model. No one knew she had a great connection to the extent of being seen chatting and smiling with the great people of Seoul. At first, it shocked everyone to hear the news of her being a daughter-in-law of the Lee family, the richest business family in Seoul, and now with Mr. Choi another of the top richest business billionaire family in Seoul. Like, she must be so powerful than what she seems to look like. Now the question in everyone's head is who is she to the Choi family? For Mr. Choi Kija to attend the event and even talk to her nicely.
"Okay, Yoona. I have only attended this event when I learned about you some years ago. I know you must be wondering why I have been checking out about you, but I think I have a lot to explain about that and I would love to discuss a lot with you." Mr. Choi said softly with a nervous smile clearly shown in his eyes.
Rosalina looked at the man with a confused expression, and then she spoke;
"Uhh I'm sorry but I don't get to understand any of this," Rosalina said just then she remembered her mom's diary. She looked at the man and tried to compose herself before speaking again;
"Uhh, is there by chance that you know me? Or something?" Rosalina asked softly causing Mr. Choi's expression to change to surprise.
"You're Min Jin's daughter?" Mr. Choi asked softly even though he knew the answer.
Rosalina nodded while Lee Gu Won, who was watching them, turned his gaze to Rosalina who was now looking a bit sad.
"Yes, my mother was Min Jin, she died some years ago. Do you know her?" Rosalina asked even though she knew the answer as she remembered her mother's diary which mentioned the name Kang and Choi's family.
Now she realized the man standing must be her mom's ex-husband and her biological father.
Mr. Choi nodded his head and spoke softly with a hint of sadness in his voice;
"Yes, but it's a long story." Mr. Choi said.
"Maybe it's not a long story since I learned everything from mom's diary, you must be my mom's ex-husband, am I right?" Rosalina said and asked coldly.
Mr. Choi was surprised but nodded his head;
"Yes she is, you might have also known who your biological father is." Mr. Choi said sadly.
"I'm sorry Mr. Choi, I think we can talk about this next time, thank you for coming today. I should see other guests," Rosalina said with a slight smile and bowed a little before walking away while Gu Won followed behind but he suddenly left to nowhere as Rosalina tried searching for him after she greeted some other guests that had come to the event.
While looking around then Irene, Selena, and Tae Yeon walked to her with a smirk on their faces.
"Oh see Ceo Rose," Selene said sarcastically and smirked.
Rosalina scoffed and put on a mockery smile;
"You guys wanna say something?" She said furrowing her brows.
"Of course, I never believed you're such a shame to even climb young Master Lee Gu Won's bed and win his heart. You're the real bitch, Rose." Tae Yeon said irritatingly causing Rosalina to chuckle at her.
The three girls looked at each other and surprised Rosalina chuckled at what Tae Yeon said to her.
"What a bitch." Selena said and sneered.
"You three are not only crazy but also think everyone will be like sluts like you and climb every bed they need to climb to get what they want. Well my case is not like you guys, you three should go and rest and wait for the reality to hit your disgusting ugly face." Rosalina said sarcastically with a mockery smirk on her lips causing Selena to glare at her and move forward closer to her;
"Yeah, how dare you bitch have the guts to talk? If you said we are sluts, then you're the real bitch who looks innocent but a baddie. Who would believe you have two kids, that's why you left Korea, since you have been a slut since your time in school. Bitch." Selena said angrily while Irene and Tae Yeon laughed mockingly and watched Rosalina's reaction to what Selena said to her but she seemed not to be moved by the words.
She smiled;
"There is no point arguing with kids like you. Why are you three so angry? Is it because you all realize I'm the CEO which you never expected? Or is it because of the news of me being the Lee's daughter-in-law? Is it because you see Mr. Choi chatting with me freely and jealous of my success? Haha, I know a lot of questions and confusion are going through your head. I'm happy you three know of my two kids but I'm not going to hide the fact that I am a mother which is why your dummy brain should tell the three of you I'm not your mate or in your category to be in the level and stoop so low to be exchanging words with you guys. And watch your tongue after this or I will have you dragged out of here." Rosalina said coldly, causing the three girls to look shocked and glare at her angrily. If glares could kill, then Rosalina should be dead by now from the glares she received from the three girls.
Rosalina received a message from Gu Won who had messaged her that he had asked his assistant to bring the kids to the hotel where they were spending the night.
Rosalina frowned after she read the messages. She looked back at the three girls looking at her with hatred and rolled her eyes at them, walking towards the stairs VIP suite while Irene and Selena's mouths were opened agape.
"Huh? She is so rude than what I imagined. I will make sure she regrets this." Irene said with a scoff.
"What do you want to do to make her regret? You can see she is so arrogant and thinks she is living a better life now." Tae Yeon said, rolling her eyes.
"She still has a secret she is hiding from the world which can shatter her career and the Lee family will kick her out if they find out she is a mother of twins," Irene said, causing Selena to look shocked.
"Don't tell me you're gonna do that to her?" Selena said, looking like she was shocked to hear that from Irene.
"She pissed me off and I will make sure I ruin her," Irene said annoyingly.
"I don't agree with this. Count me out of this." Selena said pretending to disagree but deep down she was happy to hear that and happy they could teach Rosalina a lesson. This would also ruin her career, and there she can forget being a rival of Rosalina in the film industry because since the industry discovered Rosalina, they have started to want her for their work and giving her favor to be the female lead in most films Selena has always wanted and loved to be the female lead, but she thinks Rosalina had been snatching everything from her.
"Yes, this is a good way to teach that bitch a lesson." She thought with a slight smile while Tae Yeon's voice jolted her from her thoughts.
"Hey? What're you thinking and smiling about?" Tae Yeon said, tapping Selena.
"Nothing. I just don't agree with Irene's plans of ruining Rose by leaking her secret, or what do you think?" Selena said, asking Tae Yeon.
"I think that's the best way to teach her a lesson and ruin the image she is arrogant about." Tae Yeon said, irritatingly.
"That's what I will do, just wait and see what will happen tomorrow on the news," Irene said with an evil smirk.
