"You're still following me?", Milo asked, skidding to a stop beneath a large tree leaf. He looked up, the canopy masking the entire sky, hiding the undergrowth in a thick shadow.
Kwaki stopped a few paces behind him, "Where are you going, Milo?".
The truth was that Milo wasn't sure where he was going himself, he just knew that he had some thinking to do. His entire idea of war had been warped after watching it from an outside perspective and witnessing some the atrocities that the weak had to face.
The idea that he could simply do that now was almost unfathomable.
"MILO!", the familiar voice of Ellen called out.
Milo raised his hand and allowed a bead of water to form, he shot it into the sky to let Ellen know where he was. He slumped down on a damp felled log and slammed his head into his hands.
"This is so annoying, why did I have to find out about it. Why couldn't I just remain clueless about it all".
