"Where the hell are we going White!?", Milo huffed, pushing a branch from his face and struggling to keep his footing as he hopped over a felled log.
"It's Ellen, as annoying as it is", Ellen replied, shuffling between two trees slightly in front of Milo.
They had trailed so far away from the elven kingdom that Milo wasn't even sure of the way back, but he couldn't help but trust in the sense of confidence Ellen was exuding. She navigated the terrain with ease, her mana pushing aside the leaves, roots, trees and vines with a delicate touch.
She stopped for a moment, scanned left and right then raised her hand in the air. She opened her mouth, a jumble of words Milo couldn't understand starting to escape her lips.
