The crackle of fire rang in Milo's ears as Marcos flipped over a piece of meat on the open flame. The smoky scent wafted into his nostrils, leaving him salivating at the very thought of biting into the slab of meat.
What was this mystery meat? It was the yeti. After they had defeated it, for a reason Milo didn't initially understand, Marcos has began to cut it up using his sword. He followed the usual patterns for breaking down a chicken. He took the breast, thighs and wings … or in this case, the arms.
For the rest of the yeti, he skinned it and tossed it aside. Claiming that he was later going to spend some time and sow them some woolly clothing to survive the harsh snow.
Marcos jabbed a sharpened stick into the meat, "Here Milo, eat up".
Even though Marco said it with a smile on his face, Milo couldn't bring himself to even take a bit … no matter how good it could possibly taste.
