Judging by the water's surface still shaking, Ray came to the assumption the damn thing was somehow still alive. It didn't make sense, it had been well over an hour at this point, it should have been long gone. His foot slipped slightly, the solid ground beneath his feet was starting to become wet …

Ray whipped his head around, his gaze settling on an open flame. Marcos and Dark were both sat, watching Milo's unconscious body. His skin was as cold as ice, his temperature was dropping at an extreme rate. But that wasn't the only issue they would have soon, and Ray knew it.
Thanks to Milo being unconscious and unable to maintain the hole, all of the dirt that seemingly disappeared was rushing back in. In actuality, the dirt that Ray had thought magically disappeared, was just slathered against the walls.
