Milo rubbed his shoulder, shivering as the cold breeze washed past him. He and Marcos stood silently outside of the ice wolf village, waiting patiently for the chieftain to return.
As soon as they had left, the chieftain had dashed away claiming that he needed to give Milo something. Milo groaned as he stomped his feet, jolting side to side trying to keep his blood from freezing. The chieftain had been gone for well over 30 minutes at this point, and with the tip of Milo's nose turning a bright red colour, he was slowly losing patience.
Milo looked towards the sky, shuffling his hands and letting out another tired groan.
It was as if the wind was cutting across his skin, for some reason it wasn't slowing down. He wasn't even sure where the wind was coming from! It wasn't like they were actually out in the wild anymore.
