Rain hammered down, drenching the ground as Renny slid down a small hill towards a river streaming outside of the castle towns walls. In his hand, he carried a small white device that sent continuous beeps every 10 seconds. He skidded to a stop outside of a small cave overlooking the river.
He stepped inside, picking up a dry branch from the floor and quickly snapping it across the wall, setting the tip alight. Before going any further, he cautiously stretched out his arm and checked the inside of the cave. It wasn't anything magnificent, in fact it was on big enough to keep one person sheltered.
But it wasn't shelter that Renny was looking for. He placed the white box down and tapped a flashing green button on top, immediately, the device let out a screech as the light shot from the cave, stretching to a specific coordinate in the sky.
