Darkness, that was all Milo's vision was clouded by. His senses were muffled, the screams of his comrades falling into his ears were merely noise that he chose to ignore. He struck out, a trail of blood swinging from his torn fingertips.
The robot jumped backward and waited, as if almost taunting Milo. Milo paused for a moment, before a single step carried him behind the robot once more. This time though, another beam of light shot from the back of the robot, almost predicting what Milo was planning to do.
It was somehow analysing and predicting his moves from earlier in the fight. Fitting for a warrior who wasn't human at all.
Azz wanted nothing more than to jump in between them and take Milo's place, but what could he do? Every attack he had launched at the robot had been completely and utterly smashed into tiny pieces without any regard for his former status or power level. Everyone but Milo were sitting ducks, waiting to be slaughtered.
