Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

The sky was quiet and dark, and the shadows of trees under the streetlights swayed gently. There were no other pedestrians or vehicles passing by.

Summer Mu slammed the brake and the bicycle stopped at the intersection. She didn't expect to encounter such a serious scene.

A black car overturned on the roadside. The glass shattered all over the ground, and half of the car body had been deformed due to the impact. The wheels were still spinning in vain in the air. The people inside were unaware of life and death. And a few meters away, a large truck also ran into the green belt, and the front of the car was flattened.

Summer MU was stunned when the large truck restarted and was about to run away. Summer MU immediately shouted loudly, "Wait!" But the truck accelerated.

Summer MU took out her phone from her pocket and took several consecutive photos.

The truck ran far away.

Summer MU parked her bicycle on the roadside, feeling a bit nervous. She immediately called for an ambulance and then called the police. I just ran to the car and stopped a few steps away. There was no one in the back seat, and the passenger seat was occupied by a woman with a broken head and bloodshed, her eyes tightly closed, as if she had passed out. There was a young man sitting in the driver's seat. There was also a lot of blood on her face, and she looked at her with open eyes.

His skin was fair, but his eyes were deep, as if something quiet and deep had settled, like a reef, staring at her.

Summer MU asked softly, "Can you move? Do you want me to help you out?"

The man's voice was hoarse, "Help me out."

He appeared too calm, completely devoid of any nervousness or fear after encountering a car accident. Summer MU couldn't help but glance at him twice, and when she met his almost cold gaze, she immediately withdrew.

Summer MU pulled open the car door and handed her one arm. Summer MU supported him and cautiously got out of the car.

The surroundings were still quiet, with only the faint sound of the wind blowing through the leaves. It's almost twelve o'clock, and this was another very narrow intersection. No wonder no one passes by.

Summer MU helped him to lie down by the roadside and sat down panting slightly. Although he looked thin, he was so tall and had a large skeleton. After so much effort, it made Summer MU very tired.

The two of them stayed quietly for a few seconds before he said, "Call an ambulance."

Summer MU said,"I have called."

He said again, "Did you... take down the license plate number?" It seemed a bit difficult to speak.

Summer Mu lowered her head and looked at him beside her. His hair and suit were all covered in blood, and the suit looked like a high-end item with a Rolex on my wrist. The light shone on his face, with clear contours but a pale color. Obviously, this was a master who had become accustomed to being bossy and had not say thank you to her until now.

Summer Mu said, "The license plate number has already been photographed and is very clear. I called the police just now, don't worry. However, the more you say now, will the blood flow faster?"

The man glanced at her and after a while said calmly, "Thank you."

Summer Mu smiled slightly, turned around and pulled out two T-shirts from her backpack, only this one left. She tied one tightly to his still bleeding thigh, picked up the other, and helped him wipe the blood off his face slightly.

A clean and soft T-shirt with a faint aroma. The man felt her hand move incredibly gently on his face, and the blood in his eyebrows and eyes was wiped clean, making him feel much more comfortable. His body was still in pain, and he felt waves of drowsiness rushing towards his mind, gently closing his eyes.

"Go and see my companions," he said.

"Okay."

Summer Mu walked around the car, but the woman was still unconscious and seemed to be stuck. Summer Mu dared not move around and boldly probed her breathing, letting out a sigh of relief.

Summer Mu returned to the man's side and said, "Your friend is alive, but she hasn't woken up yet."

He said, "Don't touch her casually."

Summer Mu said, "Why should I touch her casually?"

The two of them looked at each other for a moment, and Summer Mu said, "Alright, I can't help you anything else. The ambulance should be here soon, hold on." Just as he was about to get up, he went to his bag to get a bottle of water for him. Suddenly, his hand was grabbed.

Summer Mu was taken aback.

He looked at her steadily and said, "Don't leave, take care of me here."

Summer Mu reflexively wanted to pull her hand back, but despite being seriously injured, it was actually a man, and Summer Mu didn't break free. Moreover, his hands were even whiter than hers, big and slender, and at first glance, they were both pampered hands.

Summer Mu could only say, "I didn't leave!"

He refused at all and still held her hand tightly. Every finger of Summer Mu was entangled by his fingers. And his eyes, slightly open and slightly closed, seemed to be a bit confused in consciousness.

"Before the ambulance arrived..." he suddenly murmured softly, "If you leave, I'll blame you."

Summer Mu said, "..."

This person! What kind of person did she save?

"You... why are you mistaken? Did you tell the police that I crashed your car with my bare body?"

The man closed his eyes, slightly raised the corners of his mouth, and remained silent.

Summer Mu had no choice but to let him hold his hand.

But she knew that he was probably a bit confused at the moment. When he was rescued just now, he appeared so calm. Now that he is confused, he knows he needs to rely on her.
