Dalcy and Jazz returned to the classroom because we still had a class in one of our subjects. I, on the other hand, was left in the clinic. It was just a cut on my forehead and it didn't hurt much anymore. The door opened, and Alvey walked in.
"Hi, Laurenestine. Are you okay now?"
I sat up properly and smiled at him. "I'm okay, it's just a cut. Why are you here? Don't you have a class?"
"Later. I just came to check on you." He sat in an empty chair and moved it closer to me.
"You probably have something to say." I said. I knew Alvey; when he wanted to talk to me, especially if he had a class, it was always about Jazz. He was very much in love with my friend. Jazz is pretty, kind, and funny. It wasn't just Alvey who liked her; some of our classmates had crushes on her too. But despite all that, Jazz isn't an easy girl to get.
