Chapter 2 - CHAPTER-1 : The Awakening

*The Cataclysmic Night *

1000 years ago,

A group of people discovered a realm, they accidentally activated it. It was night time, moon's rays were falling on earth, but everything suddenly changed, the dark shadows appeared, millions of mysterious creatures started entering earth through the realm . *This was the beginning of terror.*

These terrifying entities, known as 'Spirits' , were brutal and merciless in their attacks. Emerging from the shadows, they unleashed chaos across the land, sparing no one in their path. Their monstrous forms struck fear into the hearts of even the bravest souls, as they began a gruesome massacre. with savage cruelty, they tore through their victims, ripping flesh apart and devouring human bodies without remorse. The air was filled with the harrowing sound of screams—men, women, and children all crying out in desperate pleas for mercy. But no mercy was given. Blood soaked the streets as fear spread like wildfire. It was a night unlike any other—The darkest and most horrific in living memory.

---

A 5-year-old girl was happily celebrating her birthday with her parents at home. Suddenly, the door was smashed open, and five Spirits rushed inside, their faces twisted with hunger. Before anyone could react, one of the Spirits grabbed her father's head and crushed it like it was nothing, blood and pieces of his skull splattering everywhere. Her mother screamed, but another Spirit attacked her, digging its claws into her chest and tearing her apart. It ripped off her arms and legs one by one, leaving her body in pieces on the floor. The Spirits started eating her, right in front of the little girl, who stood there, too shocked to move. She couldn't even cry, just staring at the horror. Then, one of the Spirits looked at her. It grabbed her by the stomach and ripped it open with its claws, pulling out her insides. The Spirit began eating her organs while she was still alive, her small body shaking in pain, her eyes wide with fear as she slowly died.

*THIS WAS ONLY ONE EXAMPLE. *

More than 90% of world population was cleared that night. That was the most worst day for humanity. So many people lost their lives and closed ones.

*THE AFTERMATH *

As time passed by, the people who survived started living in dense forests, far from the terror of SPIRITS and later started forming settlements. They discovered that SPIRITS can't resist UV LIGHT. So, they started using UV lights for their protection.

•PRESENT,

The land of 'ELDORIA' ,

A vast, futuristic metropolis, boasting cutting-edge technology and sprawling across an area nearly five times the size of Tokyo. This magnificent settlement is encircled by two imposing walls: the outer wall, Apex, standing 250 feet tall and 30 meters thick, and the inner wall, the Great Wall of Eldoria, which safeguards the Main Land. The Outskirts, situated between the two walls, serves as a buffer zone. Both walls are equipped with massive luminescent UV Light lamps. MAIN LAND is divided into 11 sectors :-

*SPIRIT HUNTERS ORGANIZATION :-

It is an organization that hunts Spirits and protectes ELDORIA. It is also known as 'SHO'. SHO has 2 divisions called the 'SCOUTS' and the 'GUARDIANS'. Guardians are like the cops who protects ELDORIA from internal threats, and SCOUTS go outside the walls and hunt Spirits, collect Intel about the Realm and EMBERS.There are 4 wads in SHO :-

WAD 1 - ELITE HUNTERS / SCOUTS

WAD 2 - TRAINERS / GAURDIANS

WAD 4 - PEACE KEEPERS (PKS) / GUARDIANS

*MEDICS CAN BE A PART OF SCOUTS OR GUARDIANS.

*PKS PROTECTS WALL.

*ELITE HUNTERS ARE THE MOST POWERFUL AND THEY GO OUTSIDE THE WALLS FOR MISSIONS.

*REALM :- It is a huge rectangular gate that connects earth to another plantet (POSTMORTAL WORLD) of another universe called the parallel universe where SPIRITS live . Realm is almost indestructable, it can only be destroyed by a person or SPIRIT who have consumed COSMIC EMBER. The realm is made of COSMIC stone .

*EMBERS :- It is the power house of Spirits. 1000 years ago EMBERS were only found on the planet of SPIRITS (POSTMORTAL WORLD), but now it can also be found on earth as Spirits started living on earth. There are millions of EMBERS. It looks pinkish in colour, every EMBER has a 'Guardian spirit' who protects the ember from any kind of threat. Every EMBER has different abilities depending on its level. The EMBER can only be consumed when a PERSON defeat it's GUARDIAN spirit. Almost every GUARDIAN spirit is from ELITE grade. If a person consumes a ember he/she gets some abilities or supernatural powers depending on the level of EMBER.There are 4 types of EMBER :-

Level 1 EMBER : Common EMBER

Level 2 EMBER : COSMUM EMBER

Level 3 EMBER : COSMIC EMBER

Level 4 EMBER : COSMIC COSMUM

EMBER

●(Embers are ranked by power levels, with Level 1 being the weakest and Level 4 the strongest.

Level 1 and Level 2 embers: Found in both the Earthly Realm and the Postmortal World.

Level 3 and Level 4 embers: Exclusively found in the Postmortal World.

This classification highlights the rarity and strength of embers across different realms.)

*Level 3 and 4 EMBER may have GUARDIANS Spirits from MASTER and GRAND MASTER grade.

*Introduction to SPIRIT grades :-

Grade 1 : COMMON GRADE (The weakest)

Grade 2 : EPIC GRADE

Grade 3 : ELITE GRADE

Grade 4 : MASTER GRADE

Grade 5 : GRAND MASTER GRADE (Most powerful)

*COMMON GRADE - Common Grade Spirits are the weakest type and can be found both on Earth and in the Postmortal World. These Spirits almost look like humans, but they have some key differences that make them frightening. They have four arms instead of two, with long, sharp teeth and a terrifying, twisted face that can give anyone nightmares. Although smaller than an average human, their speed is incredible, making them hard to escape from. If one of these Spirits bites someone, the person will die within 8 to 9 minutes because their bite causes deadly blood poisoning. The victim's body quickly weakens, and they suffer intense pain as the poison spreads. Despite being the weakest grade, Common Grade Spirits are still extremely dangerous due to their speed, poisonous bite, and fearsome appearance.

*EPIC GRADE - Epic Grade Spirits are similar to Common Grade Spirits, but they are much larger and stronger than humans. Their size alone makes them terrifying to face, as they tower over people. These Spirits are not only bigger but also much tougher, meaning they can take a lot of damage without slowing down. Like Common Grade Spirits, they can be found both on Earth and in the Postmortal World. But unlike their weaker counterparts, Epic Grade Spirits are far more powerful, making them a serious threat. Their strength and durability make them incredibly hard to defeat, and anyone who encounters one would need to be extremely prepared or face almost certain doom.

*ELITE GRADE - Elite Grade Spirits are the most unique type of Spirits. Unlike other grades, they don't have a solid form, making them very hard to fight. These Spirits are extremely dangerous because each one has its own special powers. Some might control minds using telepathy, while others can manipulate blood, teleport, or even more deadly abilities. They are incredibly powerful, and their abilities are destructive, capable of causing massive harm. Elite Grade Spirits are usually found guarding Embers, rare and valuable energy sources. This makes them even more of a threat since they are always protecting something important, and getting past them is nearly impossible.

*MASTER GRADE- They are 50 times more powerful than Elite grades and have more powerful abilities. They are only found in POSTMORTAL WORLD. There are only 8 MASTER grades :-

THE STORY BEGINS

NOAH, a 21 years old very intelligent and handsome boy. His shining blue eyes and white hair looks gorgeous. He's an orphan. His parents passed away when he was only 10 years old. His parent's death reamains a mystery; they were once the greatest scientists of Eldoria. Now NOAH lives and works as a janitor in an orphanage in SECTOR-7 / VIP. RESIDENSIAL ZONE. He has a introvert kind of personality and always stays alone. After the death of his parents he never talked much with anyone, usually he always stays calm. Besides all these, he has dream to join SHO and become an ELITE HUNTER.

*(A CHANCED ENCOUNTER)*

■ Noah stepped out into the streets of Eldoria, it was night time. The air was fresh but filled with the hints of danger that often loomed over the city. As he walked, he noticed the stares of some older boys hanging out near a rundown building. Their eyes flickered with mischief. Noah had seen them before; they were troublemakers who enjoyed picking on the weaker kids.

He tried to ignore them, but one of the boys, a tall kid with a sneer, stepped in front of him. "Where do you think you're going, orphan?" he taunted, blocking Noah's path.

"Just passing through," Noah replied, keeping his voice steady.

"Think you're tough, huh?" the boy said, puffing out his chest. The gang behind him laughed, their jeers echoing off the walls.

Noah felt a surge of anger but remembered the importance of staying calm. He took a step back, ready to move on. But the tall kid wasn't done. He shoved Noah hard, sending him stumbling back against the wall.

"Hey! You're not going to just walk away!" he shouted, advancing toward Noah with fists clenched.

Noah's instincts kicked in. He had been in enough scrapes to know how to handle himself. As the boy lunged at him, Noah sidestepped and grabbed the kid's arm, using his momentum against him. With a swift twist, he flipped the boy onto the ground, catching the gang off guard.

"Get up!" Noah challenged, his heart racing. The other boys stared, surprised by his sudden strength.

The tall kid scrambled to his feet, rage in his eyes. "You're going to pay for that!" he yelled, charging at Noah again. This time, Noah braced himself and stood his ground. When the boy reached him, Noah ducked and delivered a powerful punch to the kid's gut, knocking the wind out of him.

The gang erupted in shouts, but Noah didn't let up. He dodged another swing and countered with quick, precise strikes, using his agility to stay one step ahead. He was strong, and he knew it. The boys quickly realized they were no match for him.

Within moments, the confrontation ended, the gang members retreating with their leader gasping for breath. Noah straightened up, brushing off his clothes. He could feel adrenaline coursing through him, but he also felt a sense of pride. He stood tall, no longer just an orphan; he was a fighter.

Noah straightened up, brushing dust off his clothes. He felt the rush from the fight but kept his face calm. He stood tall, no longer just an orphan; he had shown he could fight.

As he caught his breath, sirens echoed in the distance. The Peace Keepers arrived in their blue uniforms. Noah watched them approach, feeling a mix of caution and curiosity.

"Are you okay?" asked one officer, a tall woman with a serious look. She looked around for any trouble.

"I'm fine," Noah replied, still catching his breath. "I can handle myself."

The officer nodded, impressed. "We saw what you did. You took on those troublemakers. They've been causing trouble for too long."

A younger Peace Keeper with a friendly smile stepped forward. "You showed some real skill, kid. Not many would stand up to them like that."

Noah shrugged, trying to stay tough. "They deserved it."

The woman continued, "Because you were brave, we want to give you this." She handed Noah a small card with the Spirit Hunters Organization (SHO) emblem on it. "This is a recruitment card. We think you have the potential to join SHO."

Noah looked at the card, surprised but keeping his face neutral. "You really think I could join SHO?" he asked.

"Absolutely," the young man said. "We see something in you. If you train hard, you could be a good Hunter. Take this card to the SHO Training Ground. They'll help you get started."

"Thanks," Noah said, his voice steady. The card felt heavy in his hand. It was a chance he hadn't expected.

The officer added, "Just remember, being in SHO means responsibility. You'll need to train hard and be ready for anything. Dealing with Spirits is serious work."

"I understand," Noah replied. "I won't let you down."

The Peace Keepers nodded and turned to leave. The woman added, "Stay safe, and have a good luck !."

As they walked away, Noah felt a mix of thoughts but kept his expression calm. This was a chance to prove himself. He looked down at the card again, its emblem shining in the light. Today had changed things for him.

*After few days Noah was finally prepared to Join 'SHO'.
