While we waited to get the results of the blood test, all I could think about was how lucky I was that we were able to find a way to make things work. I knew it was only a matter of time and things would be okay again.
I promised myself that immediately Audrey woke up I was going to make sure she knew just how special she was to me. I did not want to scare her away by using words of love, neither was I sure that I was at the point of love. The only thing I was sure about was that I did not want to lose her, I could not lose her, I felt that if I lost her, I might lose myself or at least the part left.
