"What?" Lilah sputtered , her cheeks turning red
"Nothing, nothing he's joking" I said jumping off the bed to my feet and towards her.
" Nothing was happening he was just helping me out with something and he fell and my hair got stuck on his shirt" I murmurred lying through my teeth. I really hoped that she believed my lie.
Lilah looked from me to Asher who had a charming smile on his face whilst I shuffled my feet nervously.
"If you say so, but I would like to talk to you Audrey" Lilah said. As she uttered those words, my heart began to beat faster than usual , I was so scared , what did she want to talk to me about, Was she suspicious , Was she angry?. Maybe I shouldn't have lied.
All these thoughts ran through my head as I stared at her helplessly and anxiously, wondering what it was all about.
"Mum?" Blake started.
"Could you boys give us some space" Lilah asked Asher and Blake
