"Hahhh... he's getting good... Unfortunately, I'm better," Ethan thought, knowing that if it weren't for his stubbornness, the chances of him leaving were a solid 70/30.
After his small conversation with Matthew, Ethan then went back to making dinner for three.
No, it wasn't for his parents, nor was it for anyone specific, mind the fact that Matthew was his only friend.
It wasn't that Ethan didn't want friends; it's just that he'd rather not find himself down at the nearest police station.
Shaking his head, Ethan sighed in a stressful tone. He had enough on his plate already. Matthew was kind of rich, but he wasn't. So losing his car wasn't an option, especially since he had less than two months before the Drifters' Academy opened its gates once more.
"I would rather not do that," Ethan thought to himself.
Minutes eventually turned into hours, and by the time Ethan was done cooking, it was around 6 PM.
After cooking a dinner for three, Ethan then plated a portion in two containers. Whenever he was hungry, there was always the option of heating up whatever he stored inside the fridge.
Having worked for at least five days a week, Ethan was used to it. Having plated all the food, Ethan then placed it inside the refrigerator. With that dealt with, he then brought his share along with him to his bedroom.
Having arrived inside his room, Ethan then sat down at the edge of the bed. And just like that, Ethan ate his meal as he reminisced on a video he found interesting.
Anyways, there were a few things Ethan needed to do. And it was checking if his Chevy had any problems. It wasn't that Ethan didn't trust the car dealership; rather, it was the latter.
After watching a few videos from 30+ years ago, which were a bit difficult to find, Ethan downloaded all that he could. His Chevy itself was already an extremely rare car in this day and age. Regardless, Ethan managed to have pulled it off.
After watching 5/9 videos, which consisted of a minimum of one hour each, Ethan could say that he learned a lot. However, now was not the time to reminisce on what he had learned.
After putting his phone on charge, Ethan then adjusted the amount of electricity that his device could receive. And just like that, Ethan closed his eyes, eventually welcoming a day of what's to come.

The next day~
6:20 AM
Slowly opening his eyes, Ethan fought the lazy feeling that almost overwhelmed him. After convincing himself to get up, Ethan then made his way to the bathroom, brushed his teeth, took a shower, ate some breakfast, before making his way outside.
With the videos provided, Ethan planned on changing the entire set of seats. However, that itself was easier said than done.
The seats were actually bolted on the ground, not the literal ground; it's the bottom of the car, to be more exact. However, that wasn't really the main problem here. The problem was disconnecting the electrical connections after the battery was removed. There were also the tools he'd be needing, of course: a socket wrench set, socket extensions, ratchet, screwdriver, and torqued wrench if necessary.
Flipping out his phone once more, Ethan then browsed for another video to see if the explanation differed from the first.
[Now you're going to.....]
After watching a full 20-minute video, Ethan could say that he had grasped half of it. Shaking his head, Ethan then stretched his fingers a bit as he then made himself busy.
---
The first thing Ethan needed to do was disconnect the battery (it's what gives the car the juice to run). And the rest of the steps were, well... Let's just say that Ethan would just start with what's at hand.
Minutes eventually turned into hours, and by the time Ethan was done, it was almost 12 in the afternoon. The old seats were dirtier than Ethan had even expected, but luckily, the matter had already been dealt with, and everything turned out well.
From the disassembling to reassembling the entire car, it ended quite well. Suddenly, a ding chimed in, prompting Ethan to shift his gaze.
