"What happen Alex? I just brought you a glass of drink. There is no need to thank me again and again for that."
Alex smiled a little, and then shaking his head a little said, "No, not for the drink." Jasmine blinked, and looked at him waiting for his next words. Alex took a moment before answering, "I am thanking you for taking my side there, when Uncle Baron raised that topic." He looked at the wine in the glass, his face now devoid of any readable expression. And then said, "If maybe you would have not interfered, then maybe what I would have said myself would have been much sharp."
Jasmine smiled and nodded her head. "That's alright, Alex. After spending so many years I understand how you feel about it. And as a friend of yours, it is only right for me to help you in that situation."
Alex did not say anything more, and just smiled and nodded.
