Zhenzhen left for the Plum Dragon Pavilion for her official vacation. Unlike Xiaoling, she wasn't given a carriage and expected to return alone. Zhenzhen didn't return to complain to Xiaoling either. She didn't want to disturb her peace. After all, she was just a court maid. It made sense for her to return on her own.
As Zhenzhen walked out of the Eastern Palace, she immediately found a rental carriage. She mounted the carriage and left for home. She had a lot to report. She wasn't even sure what was going on in the Eastern Palace, but Xiaoling's drastic change said a lot was happening.
Upon entering the pavilion, Zhenzhen was greeted by all the ladies of the pavilion along with Weisheng. After hearing she was coming, they had prepared a huge feast for her.
