As Xiaoling stepped onto the deck watching all the maids, servants, and soldiers performing a deep bow, Weisheng suddenly let go of her hand to face her, kneeling before her.
"From now on, my forces in the Underworld and I all belong to you," Weisheng uttered without hesitation, "We'll do as you say, go where you'll go, and obey your every command."
Xiaoling wasn't going to trust him blindly anymore. She knew there had to be a condition behind such authority. She narrowed her eyes and folded her arms, showing her reluctance.
"There's no condition," He said upon noticing her hesitance, "Just that you must accompany me. That, too, is because I'm concerned for your safety."
Xiaoling scoffed and looked away, "If you were that sincere, you wouldn't have to force me." She sneered, "And why do I have to separate from my companion just because you said so?"
