They were seen by too many people and needed appropriate disguises. Zisheng brought the clothes to a shed where they had been staying temporarily. He gave a set to Xiaoling and took a set himself. The clothes were very different from what they usually wore.
Xiaoling changed into the clothes immediately, looking at herself in a small broken mirror in the shed. The black cotton qipao was far from something she usually wore. She also wore her hair up in a ponytail before wearing the flowy black veil, hiding herself well.
She walked out of the shed, looking at Zisheng dressed in black cotton clothes. Not a single person could tell they didn't belong to the Underworld anymore.
