Xiaoling returned to the residence and went straight to Ru's room, knocking at his door before entering. As she entered, she saw him writing something on a piece of paper. She walked closer to his study table, getting his attention as he looked up at her and smiled gently.
"I thought Master would get lonely, so I was writing words of affirmation," Ru said, "Well, it's more like a diary," He chuckled, "That way, you can read it if you feel sad."
Xiaoling's eyes watered, but she smiled to keep her tears from falling, taking a seat before Ru. She quickly grabbed the inkstone to grind ink for him to divert her attention.
"Have you eaten lunch?" She asked in a low voice, unable to speak clearly.
Ru nodded softly, "I ate well. What about you? You must be down after sending Qiang," He uttered in a caring manner.
Xiaoling passed a smile as she continued to grind ink, shaking her head, "I ate well, too."
