Xiaoling found her in the courtyard of the Arbiter's Hall once again, covered with Weisheng's robe to keep herself warm, and surrounded by tea to cope with the loss.
Since it was almost lunch break, Weisheng left to get something nice for Xiaoling even though she mentioned having no appetite. Therefore, the Arbiter was keeping her company instead.
The Arbiter wrapped up his remaining work for the lunch break, heading to the courtyard to see Xiaoling sitting quietly in the pavilion. He walked up to the pavilion, sitting before Xiaoling. He glanced into Xiaoling's empty teacup, quickly grabbing the teapot to pour more tea for her.
Only after he poured her tea did she notice his presence.
"Ling'er should just have lunch with us," The Arbiter murmured as their eyes met.
Xiaoling nodded, looking down at her teacup quietly, "I have a question, but I wonder if you would answer it." She uttered in a low tone.
