Xiaoling suddenly panicked and tried to pull herself out of his grip, but in vain. He didn't even tighten his grip. He just stared at her quietly.
"What do you want?" Xiaoling asked.
He narrowed his eyes, lowering his face to get a good look at her face. "Weren't you the one calling me, Xiao Hua?"
Xiaoling was flustered. She had fearlessly called him out moments ago, but now she had nothing to say. She couldn't understand why her body felt numb.
"I've told you before," He said while lifting his hand to her face, gently brushing her fringe away from her eyes, "And I will tell you again." His voice was grim and sharp. "Don't involve yourself in anything, okay?"
Xiaoling frowned, "I don't understand you…"
"You never did anyway. Don't bother trying." He sighed, "I'm just being nice and telling you to behave. If you'll behave, I'll never hurt you."
"And if I don't behave?" Xiaoling asked.
