He stood up and walked to the tea table to fetch water for her. She grabbed the glass from his hand and gulped the water down. Weisheng helped her sit on the bed from the ground, squatting before her to look at her.
"Are you okay?" He asked gently, worried about how she made no noise while he was tattooing.
It felt so unreal and unlike her to go on under such pain without uttering a single word. She looked down at him quietly, setting the glass aside to pay him more of her attention.
"From now on, I'll be someone else's," She uttered softly, reaching for his face. Her fingers traced his features as she broke reality down for him.
