"Do you owe me something?" Xiaoling asked bluntly, "Or…" She gasped, "Have you fallen in love with me?"
Weisheng looked at her in awe. She was forthright and straightforward sometimes. He couldn't help but smile amusingly.
"What if I have?" He asked teasingly.
Xiaoling tilted her head, "Huh? Which one of the two?"
"Take a guess," He casually uttered, staring deeply into her eyes.
Her cheeks flushed and she looked away from him instinctively. She quickly stood up and sluggishly walked to the horses to tie their reins to the tree trunks. She looked back at him after tending to the horses.
"We will just spend the night here," She murmured, interlocking her hands behind herself as she looked around.
Weisheng nodded, "Then you should sit down," He murmured as he tried to get up, "I'll set up a fire and-"
Xiaoling rushed toward him and pressed his shoulders back down, "I'll do it."
