When Lady Ren usually left, it took her an average of two years to return. It was because Lady Ren was well-known in the three realms and seven continents. She existed for every being, making her stop by the Soul Bridge to see people. The only way she could stay permanently was if she ascended to the Heavens as an Immortal. But she kept her body purely mortal, refusing to ascend to the Heaven Realm.
Lady Ren was wise. She knew by choosing a path different from most people, she wouldn't be able to relate to them. Despite being free of karma, her entire purpose for rejoining the cycle was to help people free themselves of karma.
