Weisheng cleared his throat and looked at Hou Hai with narrowed eyes. It seemed Hou Hai had left some details.
"Oh, and then," Hou Hai murmured before pressing his lips together, "Then, I shamelessly sent another few people to look after her."
"And she caught a cold because of you," Weisheng added, "She was our best spy. I wanted you to 9et a cold, too, but alas!"
Xiaoling blinked, "Why are we talking about spies?" She asked in confusion.
Weisheng smiled, "Since you are one of us now, I figured you should know what I actually do for work," He murmured.
Xiaoling titled her head. She always wondered why a small music and dance center earned enough for Weisheng to be the wealthiest man in the Capital. It seemed her suspicions were correct.
"I'm the Minister of Justice," Weisheng admitted, "This place is just a front. Everyone working here is a spy, assassin, or soldier working for the government."
