Xiaoling couldn't sleep all night, thinking about the ceremony and the dresses Weisheng had casually gotten for her. She couldn't tell if she was nervous or excited. As she turned around a million times in her bed, she saw the sun rising through the curtains. She sat up with a gasp, realizing she hadn't had a blink of sleep throughout the night.
She quickly washed her face and put on some makeup to make herself look presentable. After all, it was almost about time that Weisheng showed up to her room to call her for breakfast. She had only spent a day with Weisheng, but she already knew her routine by heart.
Just like she had predicted, she heard a knock on her door. She smiled at her correct guesses.
"Come in," She said as she stood up from in front of the mirror, hoping her weariness was well hidden behind the makeup.
Weisheng opened the door with a casket in his arms. He entered and looked at her to say something, only to be surprised at her face.
