Xiaoling quietly stared at the reflection of the sky on the clear river water. The stars and moon were bright enough to reflect on water, but not bright enough to illuminate the gloomy Underworld.
She wondered what Zisheng's words meant as he quietly rowed the boat. Why was helping her his duty? How could someone be so pious? The more she spent time with him, the more she wanted to be like him. She found herself lacking in many ways.
"Zisheng," She called him softly.
He turned toward her and hummed gently.
"Would you mind teaching me your ways?" She asked politely.
Zisheng quietly stared at her for a moment before chuckling, "I don't think that's appropriate. I dare not steal the Liuli Sect's disciple."
Xiaoling chuckled back, "I'm not asking you to be my Master. Just help me pick out things I do wrong."
Zisheng hummed softly, giving her request some thought. She looked up at him, hugging her legs as she waited for a response.
