Xiaoling sighed and looked away. Talking to Weisheng was like talking to a lawyer. No matter what you said, he had a counterargument, ethical or unethical.
"What makes you think I'll leave no matter what?" She asked.
Weisheng looked up at her, "Sleep with me, and I might answer that." He grinned for a split second before stuffing his face with a whole dumpling.
Xiaoling was speechless, "Shameless!" She complained, slightly flustered.
Weisheng chuckled at her reaction, "I'm just kidding. I can tell you why you'll leave no matter what, but you won't like the answer."
"I still want to hear." She insisted.
Weisheng set his chopsticks aside and looked her in the eyes, "You say I was lying to you this entire time, then what about you?" He asked in a rather gentle voice, "Aren't you plotting to go to the Underworld, fix my curse, and convince me to stop murdering the perpetrators?"
