Xiaoling and Ru helped Qiang bake cookies of three different flavors: chocolate, vanilla, and mugwort. They even decorated the cookies with icing of different colors, drawing different animals on the cookies. From fluffy cats, dogs, and rabbits to cute little chicks and birds, everything was drawn onto the cookies.
It was a nice indoor activity for spirits who have lived thousands of years on end. After making the cookies look presentable, they sat by the lounge table. Xiaoling had already sent word to Weisheng to arrive for the tea break. She even invited the Arbiter. Even their tea breaks were lonely now, so it made sense to invite more people.
Weisheng arrived with the Arbiter, greeting everyone present at the table. Ru and Qiang seemed a little on guard since the Arbiter had arrived as well. Weisheng and the Arbiter took their seats amongst the silent disciples.
