"Let's drink!"
Their glasses clinked together, the alcohol rippling to the tinkle. Hai was going to reincarnate in a few hours, so everyone had gathered to share their last drinks with him.
Ru poured some rice wine into his glass and stood up, "I shall make a toast to Brother Hai."
Hai quickly poured rice wine into his glass and stood to match Ru, clasping the glass between his hands.
"When Brother Hai first came to the residence, he was a shy and introverted fellow. We all thought we wouldn't get along with him, but he proved us wrong very quickly," Ru said with a smile, "From drinking together, cracking jokes to lighten the mood, to being there for us when we needed him the most, Hai has been a great friend, and the best brother to all of us."
Hai felt flattered, "To the best people in the world, I couldn't help but repay the kindness."
