Xiaoling tried to pull her wrist out of his grip to check on Qingsheng, but Weisheng held her tightly with a blunt expression.
"Weisheng, I can explain later. What if something happens to the kid? Are you going to take responsibility?" Xiaoling complained while struggling.
Weisheng blinked, "The kid isn't real." He said bluntly.
Xiaoling stopped struggling and turned to Weisheng, "What?"
"Are you a quack?" Weisheng asked, "Shouldn't you know better than me? The kid is an illusion."
Xiaoling was dumbfounded. She finally understood why the demeanor of the couple was so strange.
"If we kill the illusion, everyone will forget it ever existed…" Xiaoling murmured one of the teachings of her Godmother.
