Mu continued flipping through the pages of her manga, as if the atmosphere in the room had no effect on her. Cruel, on the other hand, seemed completely indifferent.
"I mean you no harm, but I am still curious. I know your old world, how you lived, your tastes, your aspirations, but there is something about you that intrigues me. Of course, I also know that you are not yet able to provide me with an answer, so I will just observe you," replied Katharsis.
Ado remained skeptical and had many questions. Katharsis knew these questions because he could read her thoughts, but since he had decided that what wasn't spoken would go into the black box, Ado felt a bit strange.
"As for the appearance, if it bothers you, I can change it," added Katharsis.
Ado grumbled lightly. Katharsis certainly knew what had happened to her and what this appearance implied. After some thought, she decided not to worry about it. In fact, her mood was improving slightly. She just didn't know when she had acquired such good emotional management.
"It doesn't bother me that much. It's a face I missed a lot. If you could just make an effort to show some emotions and smile, I would appreciate it," she asked.
After all, it was her father's face, and she didn't like seeing it so impassive and lifeless.
"Alright," Katharsis agreed.
After her request, a shiver ran down Ado's body, so much so that she thought maybe it was better before.
"Actually, you don't need to smile. You're perfectly fine as you are!" said Katharsis.
Katharsis knew Ado's thoughts, but he didn't care and continued the conversation.
"What is your purpose in coming here?" he asked.
Ado didn't hide anything and explained her encounter with the entity and everything that had happened.
"So, it's like a kind of sabbatical trip. Sorry if I've disturbed you. What are we going to do now?" she asked.
Katharsis then fell into deep contemplation, before responding to Ado's question.
"I am creating a world. I can send you there or send you back home. Of course, I can also create a body similar to the old one for you to interact in this new world. Ado, what do you plan to do?"
"You can create a world? Well, that's why all this seems so mysterious. It's on a level where I don't understand anything anymore," she thought.
"Are you a god or something like that?" she asked.
"God would be just an epithet for me," replied Katharsis.
"The kind of omnipotent and omniscient thing?"
Mu lowered her manga from her face and mocked. "Father sacrificed his omniscience from the start. It's just a mass of knowledge now."
Ado thought it was better not to ask such questions for now.
"I have doubts about this world, but why would you do all this for me?" she asked.
"The world I created is partly based on your memory, so it should feel somewhat familiar to you. As I said, I just want to observe you, and your presence here is already the price you had to pay."
"Oh." Ado couldn't hide her curiosity for long. After a period of discussion with Katharsis, she eventually agreed. After all, did she really have another choice? The entity that had brought her here remained silent.
Katharsis nodded, then pointed his finger at the surface above the kotatsu. A line connecting both ends appeared.
Ado had the feeling that this line wasn't complete, but it was like observing an environment on television: you only see a part of it, but that doesn't mean the environment is limited to what you see.
The line began to vibrate. It was Katharsis' will. A smile appeared on Mu's face. The first dimension saw its laws and rules completed, then a second dimension emerged, just as complete as the first. Ado saw the line on the table transform into a plane.
Next, the third and fourth dimensions emerged simultaneously: time and space. Before creation, time did not exist, but Mu presented herself in a non-linear, immeasurable form, becoming a sort of memory.
After the creation of space, the architects, bearers of Katharsis' will, began to build on the line, the plane, and the space. Energy and matter spread across space.
Mu transformed into linear and measurable time, now fully manifested as a dimension, with time becoming tangible, with a before and after, a time arrow.
Time was necessary to create the universe, but it only fully exists after its creation. Mu is both the cause and the effect of her own manifestation.
Ado was stunned. Just like that, a universe had just been born: stars, planets, a totally stable universe.
"Oh, I've found the perfect place to begin your journey," said Katharsis.
As the plane transformed into space, what was on the table became like a holographic projection that Katharsis was fully manipulating. He showed Ado a planet.
Ado was a bit in shock and had lost the initiative. It seemed that Katharsis was now guiding the situation, but she understood that this was how things were meant to unfold.
"This planet is called Pontera by the natives," explained Katharsis.
"I can read your thoughts. You still have many questions, but you're undecided. So, go when you're ready and ask me your questions. Don't forget, I'm watching you," he added.
Before Ado could say anything, she found herself standing, completely naked, in the middle of a large avenue. Katharsis, Mu, and Cruel were nowhere to be seen on the horizon.
This time, she was certain: it was indeed her physical body.
