I took a deep breath as I approached Alex's office, my heart pounding with nervous anticipation. This was it—the moment I would ask my brother for his help in finding me a sister-in-law.
Knocking lightly on the door, I waited for Alex to respond. When he called out for me to come in, I entered the room with a determined expression.
"Hey, Alex," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "Can we talk for a minute?"
Alex glanced up from his desk, a curious look on his face. "Sure, Bibiana. What's on your mind?"
I took a seat opposite him, trying to gather my thoughts. "Well, it's just... I've been thinking a lot lately about family and how much I miss having a sister-in-law."
