Greetings everyone, Matt here. I still can't believe it's already been six months since I started writing Takashi The Golden Eagle. This story has been a labor of love for me, and I am so grateful for all the support and encouragement I have received along the way.
Now, I know what you might be thinking: "Matt, why is the story so much like Toradora?" (Feel free to ignore this if you don't know what I am referring to).
Okay, you got me. I know that this story is similar to that of Toradora (some people might say this is a ripoff even), but I want to make it clear I have a deep respect for Yuyuko Takemiya and her excellent storytelling and creativity (It is by FAR my favorite series I've ever read, if you couldn't tell by my writing style), and had absolutely no intentions of plagiarism. I assure you that as this series progresses, you will see it take off in a completely direction (I would know, I'm kinda writing the second book as you read this).
I want to thank all of you for sticking with me through this journey. Your feedback, comments, and support have truly motivated me to keep pushing forward and improving as a writer. I hope that you have enjoyed reading this novel as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
