Wen Mingye was still detained when he heard the news about Mizi Yue's accident. He almost lost his mind when he thought about it. He had to get out of there. He went on a hunger strike for several days and threatened to commit suicide.
Emperor Wen ordered the servants to feed him forcefully but Wen Mingye puked immediately after they left and sometimes he spat the masticated pieces of food right on their faces. Wen Mingye began torturing the servants and when they could no longer take it ,the eunuch begged Emperor Wen to release his crazy son from custody.
Immediately Wen Mingye was released he didn't even go to thank his father for granting him freedom. He went to see Mizi Yue.
Mizi Yue had gone into a coma. He had been lying unconsciously for two weeks. His head had suffered a severe blow and had been wrapped around with a piece of white cloth. Wen Mingye visited him everyday wishing he would open his eyes soon and that particular day he did.
