Mizi Yue felt offended but he tried to hide it. His heart didn't flutter like the way Wen Mingye first kissed him. Mizi Yue stayed at the office till late in the night because he knew she would be waiting for him outside the restaurant and there's no way he could avoid meeting her since he had to pass by there on his way to Willow Dance House.
He lit up a number of candles at the office and planned to spend the night there. He felt guilty for allowing someone to come in between Wen Mingye and him so he didn't want to face him either. There were some lit lanterns outside lighting the whole place. Mizi Yue looked outside through the window as he witnessed the first snowfall.
