Old Mrs. Wells buys the painting with the dogs playing poker for $20, she says to remind her husband that only animals participate in that devil's game. James thanks her for the purchase and bids the old lady farewell. Mrs. Wells greets Stabler respectfully as she passes her.
"What about you, Michelle? Do any of my treasures catch your eye?" James asks the sheriff as he unpacks the last of the items brought from the house. He starts with what seems the most fragile: ceramic angels.
"I'm interested in the bumblebee"
"Bobby? My Bobby, really?"
They both look longingly at the suit. Bobby remains crestfallen because he has nothing inside to keep him upright, his big cartoon eyes and smile fixed on the floor. It would be scary to find him in a lonely alley.
