"So, will you tell me about the 'Descent' now?" Sam asked.
"I can't do that," Victor replied.
"The 'Descent' is something only higher-level beings and gods are privy to. The system prevents gods and such beings from revealing anything about it to mortals."
"So that means you can't tell me about it until after I become your disciple?" Sam asked slowly.
"Exactly," Victor nodded.
He then extended his hand towards Sam, and three waves of golden energy flowed from his palm, each one striking Sam's chest in succession.
A system prompt appeared in Sam's field of vision:

"I accept," Sam said, closing his eyes as he felt the changes brought about by the three blessings.
