Saints Peter and Paul are celebrated with great feast every year in Rome, but this year, the festivities hold special significance. Not only does the celebration fall during one of the greatest internal crises in the Church, but it will also be the perfect occasion to implement my reform plans. In the courtyard of the Lateran Palace, there is a flurry of activity and preparations. Cardinals, bishops, and other church dignitaries head toward St. Peter's Basilica, dressed in their most luxurious vestments, each bearing a burden of ambitions and secrets.
