As the voice spoke, Zhin turned around and his eyes widened in recognition. The person standing before them was familiar, a figure from his past. "You... Wei Yu, why are you here?" Zhin asked, his voice laced with surprise and a hint of suspicion.
Wei Yu, one of a member of the demon cult just like Zhin, stood there with a sly grin. Seeing one of his former comrades outside the Land of the Shiny Star caught Zhin off guard. Why was he here?
"Yo~ Li Zhin," Wei Yu greeted with a casual smile, "I was sent here on a mission by the boss to recruit some people into the demon cult, you know, expand our ranks."
Zhin's expression hardened. "I see, so the boss is trying to expand the cult's influence?"
Wei Yu nodded. "That's right. So, what are you doing here?"
