"That...? Why?" Qiao Daiyu asked, her confusion evident.
Alex looked at her, his expression serious. "The Golems there, you two handle them. Make sure they don't get out. I'll take my friends to fix something inside there."
Zhin nodded, his usual stoic expression unwavering. "Understood," he said simply.
Qiao Daiyu, however, still looked puzzled. "But... what about the Golems in the city?" she asked. "Shouldn't we focus on stopping them first?"
Alex shook his head. "The source of the Golems is in that mountain," he explained. "If we can shut it down, we can stop the attacks for good. But until then, we need to contain the threat. That's where you two come in."
He looked at them both, his gaze firm and unwavering. "I trust you two to handle this," he said. "I'll be back as soon as I can. In the meantime, keep those Golems at bay."
With that, Alex took to the sky once again, leaving Zhin and Qiao Daiyu alone.
