Alex gritted his teeth, frustration warring with the desperate need to act. "NOW!" he bellowed, channeling all his remaining power into the command.
"No!" the Divine Sword protested, its booming voice laced with defiance.
But a moment later, a surprised gasp echoed through the air. "AGHHGH! Okay!" it conceded, a hint of bewilderment replacing the earlier amusement.
With a blinding flash of light, the Divine Hammer dissolved in Alex's grasp, reforming in a blur of motion. In its place, a magnificent heavy sword materialized, radiating an otherworldly glow that rivaled the storm's fury.
