Suddenly, a voice cut through the air. A young woman, her blonde hair plastered to her forehead with sweat, approached Jian Gang with trepidation. Her blue eyes, despite their exhaustion, held a spark of determination.
"I-Instructor… Can we go rest?"
The sheer beauty of the girl, a perfect picture despite her disheveled state, momentarily stole Alex's breath away.
Jian Gang, however, simply gave her a reassuring nod. "Everyone! Training for today is complete! You are now free to continue exercising on your own, or head back to your dormitories for some well-deserved rest!"
A wave of relief rippled through the crowd of students. As a result of the arduous experience they had just gone through, their initial enthusiastic cheers gave way to a chorus of tired murmurs.
Alex, however, couldn't help but be drawn to the beautiful blonde. "What's your name?" he blurted out, his voice a little too eager.
