Brittany, was the first to break the silence. Glancing at Marlowe, she offered, "Marlowe, how about I buy you some proper armor?"
Marlowe's jaw nearly hit the ground. "R-Really?!" she stammered, disbelief coloring her voice.
Brittany gave a firm nod, then turned to Alex, seeking his approval. "What do you think, Alex? Seems like it's time Marlowe got some armor that actually fits her."
Alex chuckled, a playful glint in his eyes. "Sounds like a good plan. Let's see what they have in stock that won't swallow her whole," he teased, earning a playful shove from Brittany.
Marlowe, however, bristled at the word, taking it to mean she was small. "I'm not small!" she protested, a hint of indignation creeping into her voice.
Alex and Brittany exchanged a glance, amusement dancing on their features.
