Before Alex could react further, a flash of movement erupted from the sand mere feet away. A monstrous spider, its body the size of a large dog, its legs tipped with wickedly sharp claws, lunged towards him with a deafening screech. Its abdomen, bulbous and covered in coarse black hair, pulsed with a sickly green light.
[Tarantula Spider Desert has appeared!]
"Tarantula Desert!?" Alex exclaimed, a mixture of surprise and disgust twisting his features.
These monstrous arachnids were known for their potent venom and ferocious attacks.
He reacted instinctively, patting the Desert Horse's neck with a desperate urgency. "Spin around the spider, boy!" he yelled, his voice laced with urgency.
The Desert Horse, well-trained and accustomed to the unpredictable nature of the desert, reacted with impressive agility. It sidestepped the spider's initial lunge and launched into a tight spin, kicking up a sandstorm in its wake.
