I left my castle, determined to find Basphir and uncover the source of his disappearance. Tracking his recent movements, I noted that he had been investigating near the oceanic volcanic mountains, a treacherous area where only the strongest beings could survive. Still, Basphir was one of my mightiest summons; he should have been more than capable of handling himself.
Instead of searching for Basphir directly, I focused on locating the barrier that had trapped him. This barrier was designed to obscure any presence and likely prevented anything from escaping. All I needed to do was find the area where I could sense any disturbances.
It didn't take long to pinpoint the location of the barrier—it lay submerged directly beneath the volcanic mountain. In a dramatic flourish, I created a tunnel through the island to reach it.
Upon arrival, I assessed the barrier. "It's massive," I thought. "I'll need to unleash a significant attack to break through. The bigger question is who could have constructed such a formidable barrier and whether they're still inside."
To my surprise, the barrier offered no resistance as I entered, and I quickly detected Basphir's presence. I established contact with him instantly.
I soon found Basphir standing outside a towering fortress. He explained his predicament and why he hadn't left the barrier to reach out to me.
I couldn't help but feel a swell of pride. "I guess I really am a good boss—one my servants can rely on in their time of need," I thought, ready to assist Basphir in whatever challenges lay ahead.
