Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

The moon cast its gentle light upon the sky, accompanied by a myriad of stars twinkling in the darkness. A chilly wind brushed against me, causing a slight shiver to run down my spine.

Lost in thought, I gazed up at the sky, marveling at the sight of two moons—a larger, slightly bluish one, and another pristine white orb. It was truly a breathtaking scene.

It had been at least two hours since I arrived in this world, or more accurately, since memories of my past on Earth flooded back into my mind like shooting stars. Back on Earth, I was an average human with a somewhat appealing face, still in my second year of college when I died.

No, it wasn't Truck-kun that got me; it was a damn motorcycle. Those reckless kamote drivers.

Anyway, if my memory serves me right, this planet or world I find myself in is called Astri. The humans here possess a unique power—the power to rule. Each person is granted land that they can govern, and tomorrow, on my 16th birthday, that power will manifest for me. I can only hope to navigate this beautiful yet perilous world successfully.

"Damon! Dinner's ready! Come out!" My mother's voice interrupted my reverie.

---

An aggressive knock echoed through my door before it burst open, revealing a woman with silver hair and golden pupils. She leaped onto my bed, crushing me beneath her weight.

"Ouch! Sis, get off! You're crushing me," I protested, attempting to wriggle free, only to have her bite my arm. All I could do was struggle.

"Hehe, happy birthday, Damon," she said, finally releasing me and flashing a smile.

"Oh, right, today's my birthday," I remarked as I tried to sit up. She grabbed my arm, pulling me out of bed and dragging me to the living room, where the rest of my family awaited.

"Happy Birthday, son!"

"My dear, you're all grown up!"

My parents exclaimed as they enveloped me in tight hugs. Tears threatened to spill from my mother's eyes as she held me close.

"You're finally 16 and can open your divine land," she said, excitement evident in her voice. My father beamed proudly beside her.

Both my parents were mid-tier Gods, with my father on the cusp of reaching high-tier status. With our bloodline ability enhancing our origin race, I wasn't too concerned about the tier of my divine land or talent.

"By the way, your brother will arrive later this evening from the academy; I'm sure he's brought many gifts for you," my father added, producing a silver box from his palm and placing it on the table.

"This is the gift your mother and I got for you. Open it," he urged.

I eagerly opened the box, revealing a stack of divine cards, a vial of golden liquid, a rainbow-colored diamond stone, a small sword, and a ring.

"Resource, Fertility, Manor, and Upgrade," I muttered as I read the cards, gasping at their A-Grade quality. The Manor Card even boasted an S-rank designation—truly astounding.

"Thank you, Mom and Dad," I exclaimed gratefully.

"Of course, dear. We're proud of you," my mother said, pulling me into another embrace.

"Oh, I'm glad you liked our gifts," my mother added with a chuckle.

"Quickly check the others! We want to give you ours too!" my older sister chimed in, clearly eager to present her gift. My younger sister echoed her enthusiasm, a lively duo.

I quickly examined the remaining items, each one a testament to my family's generosity and support. The vial of black dragon blood, the rainbow crystal, the spatial ring—all remarkable gifts.

Then, my gaze fell upon the final item—the Abyssal Fury, an S-class sword of immense power.

"Dad, where did you get this sword?" I asked, unable to contain my curiosity.

"Of course, I bought it at an auction," my father replied proudly.

"Show-off," my mother teased, rolling her eyes.

"It's time for us!" my sister exclaimed, pulling out a cloak from her spatial ring and handing it to me.

"It's a Celestial cloak, an A-rank item," she explained, a smirk playing on her lips as my younger sister mimicked her.

"Thank you, sis," I said, hugging her lightly, then turning to embrace my younger sister, who laughed joyfully in my arms.

It was already 11:30 in the morning when I finally settled onto my bed. The morning had been filled with laughter and warmth during our bountiful breakfast.

Lying back, I closed my eyes, realizing that the time was drawing near. According to my memory of this world, my land would manifest at noon, summoning me to another realm filled with mysteries.

11:45.

The world around me seemed to

shift as I felt a strange sensation enveloping my body—a sensation akin to being pulled. Slowly, the oppressive feeling subsided, and I opened my eyes to find myself surrounded by darkness. Words materialized before me as if typed into existence.
